  7. I’m making the quinoa salad for lunch tommorow :)

  8. @Sonum: I love quinoa…it satisfies that need for grains but it’s all protein and doesn’t make me bloat as much as rice (but i love rice!!)….can’t live without quinoa now…

  9. awesome!! the hawaiian salad looks so yums i wish i didn’t have to work and could make one right now!!

  10. @Zhing: when I come back from a holiday or had a spot of over-indulging, I actually try to do a full week of salads everyday for lunch…And my system does feel lighter and more refreshed after having so much rich food.

  11. They look so healthy and delicious, thanks so much for sharing your recipes with us =D

I tried the baking soda + ACV concoction but it didn’t do much for me =[ My hair felt the same as before only drier *sniff* Probably I did something wrong? I shall try again!

  12. Hi Blair, sorry to hear the ACV didn’t really work for you. It works better for me when I massage it into my scalp and hair and then leave it on — I use a shower cap to protect it — while I complete the rest of my shower. After rinsing, I would shampoo and condition as per normal. I do feel that it is more drying if you do it after shampoo/conditioner, but the advice I read online is to use alone or after applying hair care. It shouldn’t be drying because it’s supposed to “free” your tresses from residue build up. Also, don’t use any vinegar, it has to apple cider vinegar. Some folks think it’s impt to use organic but mine is not organic and I still like the results. Maybe you could also use a teensy bit and mix with baking soda and water, eg start with 1 tsp and then see if it is okay and then work your way up to 1 tbs…? Do let me know how it goes. Maybe makeup alley would have other tips too?

  13. i have been eating salad everyday since a few days ago, summer is so hot here and got no appetite for proper food, LOL!
