If you are in Tokyo i would recommend The Body Shop rainforest shampoo for oily hair as a clarifying shampoo

I’ve been using the red Shiseido Tsubaki bottle, and at first it was fantastic (aka better than the travel brand I was using) but it’s left a lot of residue in my non-Asian, already oily hair. What would you recommend for a clarifying shampoo?

Hmm… I don’t think any of the Tsubaki shampoos are for coloured hair….most Japanese shampoos are for shine or moisture….

I’ve been using Tsubaki (red) for years and would never use anything else, but I’ve started coloring my hair to cover greys and I don’t think this formula is meant for color-treated hair. Do you know if the white or gold is safe, or do you/your friends have a recommendation for colored hair? Thanks!

hello,

i loved pola Esthe Royer when in Tokyo. But can’t find anyone who will ship it to the states. do you know of any good site that does it or better yet may be a similar shampoo that’s easier to get on line
