We’ve got a yummy superfood smoothie recipe for you today. I love goji berries in my shakes as they are not only delicious but full of nutrients that are good for you. Goji berries, (also called wolf berries) are from China and Tibet.
Don’t underestimate their tiny wrinkled appearance as they are known to protect the liver, improve immune function, and increase fertility. Goji berries are packed full of anti-oxidants like beta carotene which are great for skin.
Be warned: This will knock your socks off. Remember to freeze your fruit to get an incredible creamy texture.
Recipe:
2 small mangoes, frozen
4 pieces of pineapple, frozen
Juice of 1 small orange
½ cup goji berries
1 glass water
1 spoonful of Meiji Amino Collagen

Thanks for posting your smoothie recipes…can’t wait to try them! They sound delicious! Btw, what kind of blender are you using? Also, do you think I can use hemp nuts instead of the powder – do I need to soak them?
Thanks again!

I use a very ordinary Japanese blender by the brand, Zojirushi. It can blend ice but def not as powerful as a Blendtec or Vitamix.
You can use hemp seeds but you should soak them for a few hours.

I love this recipe. I added pomegranate seeds because they’re in season here in CA and it was delicious! Right now I’m just using an ordinary blender too. One day I’ll get a vitamix but for now mine works fine.
Thanks for the recipe!
