It’s curious that I can turn a mundane errand of buying dishwashing detergent into a tiny beauty haul.
On my way to the cash register, I spotted these precious items:
The mini Bourjois collection is just to-die-for. Their teensy lip glosses (682JPY) can be turned into mobile phone charms.
And I finished my Paul & Joe lavender eyeshadow, so I thought, “I need purple for bold days.” So I dropped this lil’ baby (630JPY) into my shopping basket:
It’s a rich plum that will definitely suit the wintry clime at the moment, but still add a bit of colour to my face. The thumb-sized pot makes me go all, “Kawaiiiii (cute)!” but my wallet feels very respectable.
And a free palette of lip colours from Maquillage topped the shopping experience. I just love it when kusuriyas pop freebies into my shopping bag. I thought it was a novel concept that the lip colour samples look like pills on an aluminum slab.
Just love it how Japanese beauty brands come up with these awesome ideas to grab your attention.
