Hi Yuming,
I would really appreciate your opinion on this: How often do you think you should cleanse your facial skin with a cleansing gel or lotion? Twice or once a day, or less often?
My skin looks best when I do it twice a day, but I’m wondering if it’s not just like with oily hair: It looks best if you wash it daily, but in the long run daily washing will damage your scalp and increase oil secretion. Especially when the cleansing gel isn’t natural and organic, I wonder if it is truly good for the skin to be cleansed twice a day, even though it does look better. I’ve heard so many contradicting opinions and would like to know what you think about it?
Your blog is great and your skin looks gorgeous!!

Hi Vero, I think my skin looks its best when I wash it twice a day but I have to confess that I’ve forgotten to wash my face in the evenings when it is winter, simply because my face doesn’t feel oily. I think it’s not the end of the world if you don’t wash your face twice a day.
But I think climate plays a big part too. If I live in a tropical country, I would def wash my face twice a day.
I also think hair and facial skin are a bit different. I believe you can wash your hair twice a week and it’ll be fine, but for myself, I wash my hair almost everyday but that’s just me. What I’m trying to say is that, how you treat your hair has to be different from your facial skin because they behave differently.
