NYC Vlog: Louboutin, Laduree, & Creed
***Please remember to watch this in HD – it’s waaaay better!***
Hi friends, today’s video is a short vlog that follows me around a day out in NYC with a girlfriend. It was such a fun day full of shopping and delicious eats. I loved soaking in the glamour of Madison Avenue and I was certainly tempted to buy quite a few pretty things that came our way.
I was actually a little self-conscious to vlog in front of my friend because I’d never done that with a non-blogging/vlogging person. I thought she would find it weird but she assured me she didn’t think so at all. Thanks for putting up with the filming, dearie!
What do you love about the Big Apple? If you were to visit NYC, what would you do?

I have never been to nyc but if i were to, i would love love love to check out the anna sui store for cosmetics. the packaging is amazing and i have a couple blushes but, i dont dare spend so much for any other type of make up other than blushes without seeing or trying them first handed. make up aside, public transportation and central park. i think those are two things that really interest me when it comes to nyc.
is your video purposely on private?
Hmmmm…. I have so much to say when comes to NYC. I moved there after I graduated from university 10 years ago and I must say (even though I was so broke) it was the best place I’ve ever lived. Sephora was fairly new then and it was my go-to place every weekend. Nowadays, I travel there to eat great food. I usually hangs out with friends in Flushing, the best Chinatown of all the three “chinatown” in NYC.
They do have tons of great beauty stores (locally own) and mostly around West Village. If you ever go back, please check it out. I can’t remember the names (I’m forgetful) but just walk around and you’ll find loads of fantastic beauty stores
@kimby: sorry were you not able to watch the video? I didn’t make it private – it should be public actually. I love Anna Sui too! I used to be obsessed with her fragrances. I have Anna Sui glasses too!
Central Park is def a special place to walk through. I could never get sick of it. I love jogging there. The train system is so convenient and I never really get lost in NYC.
@Nelly: You lucky chicken – you lived in NYC before? That’s so awesome and def a great life experience. I love Sephora too. I didn’t go to one in NYC, but I did zip into one in Phoenix and was in the mood to shop lol…maybe I’ll do a haul video next. I really want to go to Flushing but I think it’s quite far and my friends who live there don’t really go there either. They would rather go to Chinatown because it’s way more convenient, but I heard the Taiwanese food in Flushing is the bomb!
Nice video! You look beautiful! Louboutins are more expensive in the US? Really? Interesting! I grew up in a large European city, went to the university, then moved to other country, again a large city, and then smaller, then village, and now a small one, another continent. I definitely do not want to live in a large city. I do not like pollution, hectic, crowd, and tiny, and tiny apartments. I love houses, space, nature, peace, animals, trees around my house.
If visited NYC tomorrow (which is impossible), I would visit all NYC’s museums, and spend at least half a day at beautiful Central Park! I would just walk around, drink a cup of real coffee, and enjoy the life!
@Sandra: Thanks! I meant that Louboutins are more expensive in Tokyo…;) Yeah big cities can be overwhelming even though they have everything, in terms of infrastructure and material goods and services. The museums in NYC are awesome!
Popcorn caramel pudding and Ladree macarons? YUM! Loved watching your video. What a lovely day you had in NYC!
If I were there, my days would definitely be filled w/ shopping and eating! Hee hee…
@Shop ‘N Chomp: Thank you! Haha…sounds like I found a kindred spirit in shopping and eating…I never get sick of doing that in NYC.
great memories of that day!
@blurberber: yup!! hope to hang out like that again soon!
