Weekend In Tokyo Vlog: Behind The Scenes @ BB HQ

I recorded this vlog the weekend before I left for Australia and Singapore and it’s been a long time that I’ve had a whole Saturday to myself so I thought I’d show you what life’s like at the Beauty Box Headquarters in Tokyo. It was a day of domestic errands, a mini haul, and a bit of bloggie type work. For you Japanese food lovers out there, I share a simple but delicious mentaiko spaghetti dish I made from scratch.

    oh my, i totally understand what you mean by getting your energy back in solitariness…..there are just some days I need to be in my “me” comfort zone to just do my things :)
    Ah, I am glad that you still like laksa noodles! I guess they get constant stock up :)

    sounds like a relaxing and productive day indeed! and the video made me miss the convenience of living in Japan…

    and I would love to read your review on the shiseido brush sometime! It’s a tad more expensive in hk…

    I left a comment, but do not know what happened. It disappeared. So odd. Anyway, super Saturday. And, I am like you. I love to be alone. I hate bad company, and do not like company that makes me uncomfortable, or people I have nothing in common with. I have to try Laksa. My kind of food! Yummy!

    Hi Sandra, sorry that it was difficult to leave a comment. Yeah, more and more I believe in not being with bad company! Do give laksa a go if you spot it at an Asian grocery store. Some Thai restaurants have it but it would be a much sweeter curry soup.

    Hi Yuming this video was really interesting! :) I like to have a balance; if I’m out all weekend I feel like I’ve had no rest…. I also like to spend an hour or so waking up slowly, sitting around in my PJs haha! :)

    @Sarah: Me too. I like waking up without the alarm and just lounging around in my PJs till I feel like taking a shower or heading out for a run.
